Dr Vidhu Shekhar Khare trained at Gandhi Medical College, Bhopalfor medicine and general surgery, and went on to complete an MCh in Breast, Endocrine & General Surgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh — one of a handful of programmes in the country with a dedicated breast-endocrine focus.
Along the way he spent observerships in endocrine surgery at CMC Vellore and breast-endocrine surgery at SGPGI Lucknow, and as an Associate Consultant at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram.
He now consults full-time at Apollo Athenaa, New Delhi, where his practice covers the full arc of breast disease — benign lumps to advanced reconstruction.
